Look at how the app Goodnotes integrates with the Apple Pencil, it works great. We are entering the third year with an Apple Pencil on the market, put some work into the app to utilize the Apple Pencil instead of it just working like any regular stylus. What I would like to see is Apple Pencil support including pressure sensitivity and true palm rejection. Myself and my husband each have an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil to make math videos using Doceri. Your blog hasn't been updated in 11 months, Facebook hasn’t been updated in 6 months, and it’s been about 4 months since anything was tweeted from your official Twitter account. If Explain Everything allowed me to write and record voice over separately, I would switch to that app and drop Doceri. It has become rather dated and is very clunky compared to an app like Explain Everything. I am writing to find out if you are still supporting this app. Personally, I do not care about the integration with the computer, I'm just using your app to make math instructional videos. I like focusing on those two aspects independent of each other. I love the concept of your iPad app, specifically the ability to pre-plan out videos by writing out my work or notes in advance and making it perfect and then recording the voice over only at a later point. I can’t tell you how many of my colleagues ask me about my setup when they see how I can do some of the things I do in the classroom and on my recorded videos. Don’t let the last release date fool you into thinking it’s not being kept up to date. I’ve had a few problems over the years, usually related to a new Java update or MacOS update. The developers have been very responsive to keep the apps up to date as needed. With a click of a button, I can record on my iPad with my MacBook, and with a click of a button, I can publish my video to YouTube. I’ve also used to many times to record lessons. And, that’s it! It’s an amazing app for the classroom. Doceri lets me seamlessly select which screen I want to annotate, so I select the screen that is presenting my slides. The MacBook displays my slide deck in Presenter mode so that I can see my presentation notes, but my students can’t. I connect from my MacBook to the projector. My setup? My MacBook has Doceri Desktop installed. On occasion, I can hand my iPad to a student and have them solve a problem with my Apple Pencil. I’ve been using Doceri for annotating my PowerPoint slides in the classroom for years.
